I tell stories from the Pacific Northwest about public health and the environment.

I'm a (nearly) lifelong PNW resident from Shelton, Washington. I combine my regional expertise and love of this place to uncover stories of people who have been historically underrepresented in media. I look at global environmental issues through a local lens to find out how this region's people are impacted — and in particular, which people bear the greatest impacts. I like to tell stories about the public health outcomes of environmental policy. I also write about climate change in the present tense, and I look for stories about the ways that people are responding and adapting to it.
